Weaving

Crocheting is a kind of weaving.
Wrapping and looping your thread one little stitch at a time
and slowly,
methodically,
a pattern emerges.
And something usefully is formed.

This weekend I'll be making a few things. A birthday gift, a few hats.

And my honey will be coming home to me after two weeks of rebuilding flood-ravaged homes down south. So there will be lots of stories to tell, lots of cuddling of couch to catch up on.

That's what I love about marriage. Days and years intertwining as memories are woven together. As our life is quietly formed.
