and he was too busy to lie still for mommy
I think that this is my favorite month so far.
-eats 6 5 oz. bottles...every 4 hours.
-tries a new food every 4-5 days. Loves: apples, warm bananas, sweet potatoes, squash, turkey!, pumpkin. Tolerates: carrots, green beans
-hasn't gotten the hang of of feeding himself finger food. He just throws the puffs.
-CAN use his pincers to pick up dirt though...sure. that he puts into his mouth :)
-is wearing 12 month clothes, which are starting to get tight. and 18 months clothes.
-started clapping...adorable!
-clapping and squealing...too much cuteness
-looks up, grins, and shakes his head
-hugs both Nathan and I around our necks
-scoots with one leg in front, one leg behind him
-rolls over from back to tummy
-tries to pull himself up on things
-spins around on his stomach to reach things
-HATES being in his car seat. I have to sing "Do a Dear" the WHOLE way to town.
-plays with his penis every time I change his diapers :)
-after a few weeks of sleeping with one arm out, now sleeps with both arms unwrapped.
-gets a bottle at 6pm, sleeps (restlessly) from 6:30. eats at 10. up at 2am or so. up with Daddy at 5:30.
-takes two naps. first one in the morning from 7:30 to 9am. afternoon nap from 1 to 2:30 or so.
-goes down SO EASILY for naps now. This is HUGE!! from months of walking a struggling crying baby to sleep for hours a day...to cuddling and rocking my baby for a few minutes as his eyes gently close...yeah!
-is starting to make more sounds, starts to immitate us.
-says Daddy AND Mama !
-only uses his pacifier for a few minutes to fall asleep, never while awake.
-has sprouted hair. it's blond is some light and curly when wet
-still SO sweaty. sometimes he smells like squash if he's been eating a lot of it.
-started burping himself...we don't burp him anymore after his bottles.
