Her long beautiful hair is blond like her mother and her eyes are just like her father...and she is our five year old friend Taylor. A few weeks ago as we were packing up to leave the home of our pastor's house in NY we joking said "Hey Taylor, want to come with us." as the conversation progressed, her forever generous and adventerous parents said..."Hey are you guys serious?!"
So before we knew it we were packing one suitcase of little person clothes and two suitcases full of toys into our minivan and heading out for the 10 hour journey to Indiana.
She was amazing the whole trip and I really enjoyed getting to take care of her and do mommy type things like get her ready for bed and read her stories, help her take a bath and pick out her clothes, even comfort her in the night when she had a bad dream.
Amazing as she is, man did we sleep well when grandma and grandpa duvall picked her up the next day in IN...and we thought we would wait a while before intentionally creating a little person of our own. Taylor thinks sooner is better than later on that department.
Mid-way through Ohio she declared "I think you guys need to get a kid."
