Resources

Happy Monday! Just wanted to share some resources I found over the last week or so. Enjoy!

Hidden in My Heart is an album of gentle lullabies, it's essentially God's promises set to stunningly sweet and simple music. What a wonderful way to send our little one off to sleep. And for every 10 CD's sold, they will donate one to local Crisis Pregnancy Centers. (Which is something pretty near and dear to my heart as I volunteered at a CPC for three years throughout college.)

Seeds Family Worship is a collection of family worship albums that sets Scripture to music with kid back ground singers. (some of the music is a little cheesy...but it's a few steps up from the Steve Green Hide 'Em in Your Heart tapes we used to listen to in Sunday School). Each album is filled with scripture verses with a theme: Courage, Character, Faith, Praise, and Purpose.
They also have scripture memory cards in a free download that correlate with each song in their collection. (I currently have Phil. 4:6-7 stuck in my head.)

Character Qualities I watch the Duggars on 19 Kids and Counting and have heard references to the 49 character qualities they work to develop in their daily interaction with their children. Well, I found a pdf file with corresponding scriptures from an outdated Duggar family website. I'm currently in the process of turning these into flash cards to pray over each morning.
